The Ram-Air Model is designed for highway driving and tours.  It uses the motion of the car to force air through the unit.  This model is engineered for enhanced air capacity at modest vehicle speeds and provides even more cooling on the highway.

HT Model for Hardtops and Convertibles

The standard Ram-Air ClassicAire® car cooler is designed to fit into a full frame (sedan-type) window with plain-edge window glass. 

For hardtops* and convertibles that don't have a full frame or that have metal reinforcing on the top of the window glass, please order the Ram-Air car cooler with "HT Option".  The HT Option also fits sedan windows, so it is a universal fit.

Some year models of GMC and Chevy pickup trucks have metal reinforcing around the window glass. The HT Option is required to fit these vehicles.

*   "Hardtop" refers to a vehicle without a center post going to the roof (known as the "B" pillar).
