Fan-Powered Cooler

The Fan-Powered Model is designed for stop and go driving or for cruising at low speed.  The built in fan provides full airflow even while the vehicle is stopped.  When driving at highway speed the fan can be switched off and the cooler operates on ram air.

HT Model for Hardtops and Convertibles

The standard Fan-Powered ClassicAire® car cooler is designed to fit into a full frame (sedan-type) window with plain-edge window glass.

For hardtops* and convertibles that don't have a full frame or that have metal reinforcing on the top of the window glass, please order the Fan-Powered car cooler with "HT Option" .  The HT Option also fits sedan windows, so it is a universal fit.

Some year models of GMC and Chevy pickup trucks have metal reinforcing around the window glass. The HT Option is required to fit these vehicles.

*  Note that the term "hardtop" refers to vehicles without a center post going to the roof (known as the "B" pillar).
